For those of you who are not aware,Guillermo del Toro has written a vampire horror novel called The Strain http://www.thestraintrilogy.com/
It is the first of three novel co-written with Chuck Hogan .
The novel is set to be released June 2, 2009, beginning with a Midnight World Premiere Launch at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood. http://www.meltcomics.com/blog/2009/05/18/meltdown-presents-midnight-signing-with-guillermo-del-toro/ and book tour set to follow across the country. Here we are a little over a couple weeks away from the official release of the novel and the reviews are coming in...here is an online review
